Reading love: reading undisturbed, in a pleasant setting without distractions

Leesliefde invites book lovers to put their phones aside for one evening a month and immerse themselves in the world of reading. Every last Tuesday of the month, readers can curl up in the lounge warehouse of the Werkplek, a pleasant workspace that is transformed into an atmospheric reading environment. There are no smartphones, no email and no social media – just the soothing pages of a good book.

What can you expect?

• The evenings are designed to promote concentration and tranquility. Participants are encouraged to turn off their mobile devices and enjoy uninterrupted reading time.Silence and focus:

How do you participate?

You can always join in, just mark the date in your agenda and reserve a spot via the link. Everyone is welcome, regardless of your reading preference or the book or brand of e-reader you bring. De Werkplek uses the Pay What You Like principle; you show your appreciation for the evening by means of a donation.

Leesliefde was founded by independent editor Liesbeth Vries of Redactie van Lies, in collaboration with de Werkplek, with the aim of creating a reading moment in our busy lives.
